In the Beginning...

I have over 10,000 photos on my computer. 10,000! And it's getting worse all the time.

I get itchy to take photos sometimes. I don't yet consider myself a photographer (just an artist who takes photographs), but as I learn more about the craft I may decide to don the mantle. In the meantime, maybe it's time for me to get my 10,000 photos into the world.

So, my goal is to post a photo a day. Given how busy I usually am, not to mention forgetful and sometimes just downright lazy, that may or may not happen. But at the very least, expect a photo once in awhile. Hopefully a good one. Some will be blurry, some will be mundane. Once in awhile a photo of one of my pets might sneak in. All I can promise is a bit of reflected light captured in a few pixels.

And randomness. Definitely randomness.

We'll start with this one.
